  19.        The EddSON Willow Cricket Scorebook is the quickest, easiest and most
  20.    comprehensive method of cricket scoring. It has been designed to cater for
  21.    the needs of both novice and experienced scorers.

  23.        By utilising the flexibility and ease of use of the Microsoft Windows
  24.    environment the Willow Cricket Scorebook provides features not found in any
  25.    other computer based scoring package.
  26.  
  27.        The Willow Scorebook automates the scoring process allowing you to
  28.    concentrate on the game in the knowledge that your scorebook is accurate.
  29.    All common scoring events are recorded by one key press or one click of the
  30.    mouse. This is achieved using the Options Pallette, a window of icons
  31.    representing a dot ball, byes, leg byes, runs, wickets, no balls and wides.
  32.    To record one run simply click the one run icon and watch as all the
  33.    analysis windows update automatically.

  35.        You can see as much or as little detail as you need during the scoring
  36.    process. Analysis windows are available for Batting, Bowling, Over, Fall Of
  37.    Wicket, Scoreboard, Radial Charts, Match Summary and Score Sheet. Each can
  38.    be turned on or off at any time. You can also position Analysis windows
  39.    anywhere on the screen, providing a truly customisable scorebook.

  41.        Willow Cricket Scorebook is very flexible. It supports limited and
  42.    unlimited over Cricket, One & Two Inning matches, From 5 to 11 players per
  43.    team plus substitute, No Ball penalties of value one and two. Matches can be
  44.    saved, loaded and exported for later analysis, mistakes can be corrected
  45.    using the Undo facility, Innings can be suspended for Rain, Light, Lunch,
  46.    Tea, Drinks and other unforeseen circumstances, Match results can be
  47.    calculated automatically, Times can be recorded automatically or manually,
  48.    Batsmen and Bowlers can be automatically selected, Overs can be ended
  49.    automatically.

  51.        Willow Cricket Scorebook is also comprehensive. Captains and Keepers
  52.    can be recorded, Byes and Leg Byes are indicated in the Bowlers analysis,
  53.    Radial Charts can be produced indicating where every ball was hit and every
  54.    run scored, Recording of Weather & Pitch conditions for each innings,
  55.    Supports Local Customs, Match & Innings Notes, Bowler and Batsmen Retirements
  56.    (Out & Not Out), All match analysis can be printed using standard Windows
  57.    printer drivers. Matches may also be exported to other Cricket Software
  58.    products using the standard CSF (Cricket Scorebook Format).

  73.        Once the Willow Scorebook Trial is installed and you have restarted
  74.    Windows you will see a new Windows Group called Willow Scorebook containing
  75.    3 icons. To start the Willow Scorebook double click the icon labelled Willow
  76.    Scorebook.

  78.        When the Willow Scorebook is running you can experiment with the
  79.    product. Try File, New to begin a new match for example. Alternatively you
  80.    can press the F1 key at any time to obtain help with the programs many
  81.    features. Some examples are also provided which you can load by using the
  82.    File, Open option.

  84.        We hope the Willow Scorebook provides you with the features and ease of
  85.    use you look for in a scoring package. As scorers and statisticians
  86.    ourselves we have tried to address the real needs of scorers but in a way
  87.    that makes computerised scoring accessible and fun.
